First launch

The builds are not code-signed yet, so your system asks once before opening them.

macOS

Right-click the app and choose Open, or run:xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Design Editor.app"

Windows

If SmartScreen warns about the installer, choose More info, then Run anyway.

Linux

Unpack the binary into a folder you can write to, such as ~/.local/bin, so in-app updates can replace it. It needs glibc 2.39 or newer, GL/EGL and X11 or Wayland.

Command line only

The de tool renders, exports and checks designs without opening the editor.

Check any download against SHA256SUMS.txt with shasum -a 256 or Get-FileHash.
